Thompson’s Bayoneta Yucca (yucca thompsoniana)

Narrow, stiff and lightly glaucous, muted green leaves, up to 24 inches long form a spherical rosette on top of the tan to gray trunk and matures to an overall height around 8 feet. Aging shaggy, brown leaves hang down neatly overlapping and blanketing the trunk. Mid to late spring, copious amounts of white blooms emerge from the 2 to 3 foot tall, sturdy flower spike that grows well above the tree top.
